# 1. Introducción

La diversidad de plataformas que tenemos actualmente: móvil, web, escritorio,...,  etc.  hace que sea cada vez más interesante la posibilidad de **escribir** el **código** de la aplicación **una** **sola** **vez** y **desplegarla** en **múltiples** **plataformas** (cross-platform) por el **ahorro** de **tiempo** y **esfuerzo** que supone.

Las aplicaciones más exitosas, Gmail, Netflix..., suelen tener una imagen de marca por lo que proporcionan una **UI** con el **mismo** **diseño** en todas las plataformas (iOS, Android,..)

**Flutter** fue **creado** por Google en **2015** y presentó oficialmente la **version 1.0** en Diciembre de **2018**.  

Es uno de los **frameworks** **multiplataforma** más recientes y que ha ganado mucha **popularidad** entre los desarrolladores.
